How to make a payment to CRA?

• If you do online banking, it is the easiest way to pay. First add CRA as a payee, then make the payment the same way as you pay other bills.
• You can visit any bank branch to make the payment in person, free of charge.
• If you have your CRA "My Account", you can go there to setup pre-authorization payment.

Go to CRA My Payment page.

Tip: At our filing page, if you click Yes to the question "I will make an electronic payment using my financial institution's Internet or telephone banking services within the next five days", CRA will hold the assessment for 5 days. If you click No, CRA will assess your return right away and expect you to pay the owing before April 30.
