How to split pension income?

Note:The pension split can only be done in one direction, which means one spouse gives and the other receives. Therefore, if you have already entered a split amount under, for example the husband's name, the pension split page will not be available under the wife's name. If you want to try switching rolls, you need to first remove the split amount under the husband's name(clear the box or enter zero), then the link to the page under the wife's name will be visible and you can then split her pension income.

In simple view mode:

If you have eligible pension income to split, the "Splitable pension income" link will be available on the left. Click it to get to that page.

In expert view mode:

If you have eligible pension income to split, the "Splitable pension income" link will be available under "Miscelaneous Numbers" on the left. Click it to get to that page.
